WAYNE RHINE (Judge Retired 1983-2006)

Wayne Rhine is a skilled mediator and as a judge was known for his pragmatic approach to settling cases. He has extensive experience in settling construction, contract, personal injury, tort, product liability and landlord/tenant matters. In addition, Rhine developed a program of on-sight inspections for construction disputes that almost always resulted in settlements. He had a 24 year judicial career with a focus on commercial litigation, torts, subrogation, personal injury construction matters, contract disputes, landlord/tenant disputes including extensive litigation involving the Chicago Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance.
JEREMY WEDDLE

Obtained his law degree in 1996 from DePaul College of Law. Was the winner of the
CALI award in Supreme Court Litigation for his thesis on the case of Miller v. Johnson
analyzing the effect of gerrymandering and the Voting Rights Act.
Jeremy Weddle has practiced in a variety of fields of law during his ten year career including
real estate law, estate planning, bankruptcy law, foreclosure, forcible entry and
detainer, and retail and commercial collections. Has successfully tried and settled
cases in both federal and state court systems. Jeremy also serves as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel
for the City of Chicago.

Mr. Roberts has handled hundred’s of bench trials, jury trials, binding and non-binding arbitration hearings. He is familiar with the civil practice in all major counties and collar counties within the State of Illinois

Carl Lloyd G. Santos joined the Law Firm of Friedman and Wexler, L.L.C. in December 2006. Mr. Santos also currently serves as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago.
Mr. Santos is known for his litigation experience in the area of collections, insurance subrogation, and personal injury. He has successfully tried numerous arbitrations, bench trials and jury trials. Furthermore, he has been the lead attorney for over 10 jury trials.
Mr. Santos is licensed to practice law in Illinois. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northern Illinois University in 1999, Mr. Santos graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a litigation concentration in 2002. At Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Mr. Santos was a member and served as vice-president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
